What are rides like?
Our Thurs rides usually start at 6:00 pm and typically end around 8:00 pm. please check in with the lot attendant at 5:45 pm to find your group!!
Volunteer Ride Guide develop a route and lead small groups of 8-12 women around to learn new parks, trails, skills and make new riding friends. After checking in, you'll divide into groups and your ride leaders will instruct you for the evening. We want our group rides to be a place you can come to be with friends - we have a no drop policy, so we will not leave anyone behind.
Riders aged 18-100 are welcomed!
What should I bring on a ride?

A mountain bike in safe and working order

A helmet

Water, snacks, sunscreen and a small repair kit if you have one
Why do I have to sign up for rides?
The WMBA community has grown tremendously over the years, and we want to make sure that our growth is sustainable. By limiting group ride sizes at each location, our impact will be felt less by each park. Smaller group sizes should also allow for a better experience on the trail for all of our members.
The WMBA Board of Directors works in conjunction with COS Parks and Recreation to make sure that WMBA is acting in good faith as community partners to protect the trails that we all enjoy riding on.
Life happens! If you have registered for a ride and need to cancel - please do it as soon as possible so someone on the waiting list can join! Visit your profile page on RunSignup.com (click the head in the upper right hand corner of the webpage) - under upcoming events you will see all of your registrations. Click on "Manage Registration" and "Request Refund".
If you are waitlisted for a ride, you will get an email notification if a spot opens up. You will have 24 hours to register - if you don't register in that time, the open spot will expire, and it will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
