There will be a women’s bike demo by Giant. If you would like to demo a bike for the group ride some early so you can get set up. The demo runs from 4-8.

Don’t forget to bring your donations for Urban Peak. Urban Peak helps homeless youth by providing them with a bicycle, helmet and lock. They can use your monetary donation or gently used brakes, tires, saddles, or even bikes (just no cheapy mass-produced bikes). Even if it is pouring rain we will be in the parking lot collecting your donations! Can’t make it to the ride but would like to donate anyone, email info@wmbacos.org to make other arrangements.

We will be gathering in the parking lot by Maizeland and Academy, near the baseball fields at 8:00am and work until 11:30.
We will be doing a variety of activities: painting picnic tables, dog poop scooping, vandalism repair (spray paint), trash pick up, and trail rehabilitation.
Everyone should bring water and work gloves. Other items are optional depending on what you’re doing. People might want to bring a trash pick up device for litter or pooper scooper, and snacks. If you have a favorite shovel or pick that you’d like to work with on the trails, bring it along. We will have all these materials available, only a smile is required.
This trail work will be done in companion with GOPP and Medicine Wheel Crew Leaders.

This week’s group ride is in Cheyenne Canon. Riders will be challenged by mountainous singletrack and climbing, but rest assured all levels of riders can do this! Columbine offers a wider trail for those that aren’t ready to climb Mt. Buckhorn.
