Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 1 Corinthians 9:24-5 |

"I believe like a child that suffering will be healed and made up for, that all the humiliating absurdity of human contradictions will vanish like a pitiful mirage, like the despicable fabrication of the important and infinitely small Euclidean mind of a man, that in the world's finale, at the moment of eternal harmony, something so precious will come to pass that it will suffice for all hearts, for the comforting of all resentments, for the atonement of all the crimes of humanity, of all the blood that they've shed; that it will make it not only possible to forgive but to justify all that has happened." -Fyodor Dostoevsky |
| What I love about mountain biking |
More than anything, I love the freedom that mountain biking provides: freedom to let loose in the mountains and just be. I also love the agressiveness, challenge, and excitement found from racing and riding sections I never thought I could or would try. Also, I love that the sport is constantly pushing me to get out of my comfort zone and to take bigger risks, which is a great life lesson as well.
